WALTHAM HOUSING AUTHORITY IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS BUT CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

We have physically closed the office , but are open for business. Residents and applicants can communicate with us via phone, mail or e-mail. We have reduced staff or working at home each day and the remainder in the office. We are placing notifications in various developments and at our front door. We are in the process of updating the website. We have live operators answering maintenance and admin phones for all business hours. We have rent deposit boxes at the front of our office and in some of our larger buildings. The only application list that cannot be accessed remotely is our federal elderly/disabled list. We have forms for all programs available outside our front door and of course links to them on our website. Completed applications can be dropped off in our box in front of our office.

Maintenance is limited to emergencies only and then the residents must isolate in another room or outside their residence while emergency maintenance is performed. They can still call in routine work orders but they will not be attended to until the Governor gives the all clear from the isolation requirements. We are still doing trash removal and exterior maintenance weather permitting. Inspections are suspended.
